On April 23, state police reported a burglary on Ridge Road in Warriors Mark Twp. Police said that unknown actor(s) entered the residence of Mildred Wertman of Warriors Mark and stole multiple frozen steaks and roasts from the freezer. The actor(s) fled in an unknown direction. Investigation continues.

Made threats
State police responded on April 23 to a domestic disturbance at the residence of Branden S. Williams, 23, Tyrone. Williams allegedly made threats against two parties at the residence, and destroyed items inside the house. Williams attempted to flee from police upon arrival, but was apprehended. Charges will be filed before Magisterial District Justice Gummo for assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief.

Hit and run
On April 26, state police reported that an unknown operator of a 1987 Ford F-150 pick-up truck was traveling south on Grazierville Road in Antis Twp. and lost control of the vehicle. The truck went off the road and sheered a utility pole, knocking out the power in the area. The driver fled the scene after the accident.

Didn’t pay for the gas
State police reported a retail theft at the Snappy’s at the Bald Eagle Intersection in Snyder Twp. An unknown actor pumped $27 worth of gasoline and then left without paying. The vehicle was a black Chevrolet Cavalier.

Accidental death
On April 27, state police reported that David Thomas, 48, Warriors Mark, was mowing grass on a bank when his Cub Cadet garden tractor rolled over, pinning him beneath the machine. Thomas did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene by Huntingdon County Coroner Ron Morder. The cause of death was asphyxiation and the manner was accidental. Thomas was found by a passerby who called 911. Warriors Mark Fire and EMS responded at the scene with state police.
