Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett, Blair County District Attorney Dave Gorman, along with officials of the Attorney General’s Blair County Municipal Drug Task Force, which includes 14 municipalities in Blair County, today announced that drug agents and task officers conducted a drug sweep of suspected drug violators who are alleged to have been involved in the delivery/possession of controlled substances in the Altoona/Tyrone area.
Law enforcement officers from the PA Attorney General’s office and the Blair County Drug Task Force conducted an operation on December 19 in Blair County that resulted in a large seizure of controlled substances and other property. As a result, four subjects are in the process of being charged with various drug violations and arraigned in front of District Justice Craig Ornesby.
A press conference was scheduled for 11 a.m. today at the Tyrone Borough building, and more information will follow in tomorrow’s edition of The Daily Herald.
