The trio of Andy Ostach, Mark DeMarines and Adam Highberger led host Blairsville to the championship of the Kovacek Tournament in Blairsville on Friday night. Ostach led the Bobcats attack with 31 points and DeMarines and Highberger added 16 and 15 respectively to guide Blairsville past Tyrone 80-58. The two teams also met in last year’s finals with the same result.
Blairsville (9-2) outscored Tyrone in each quarter for the win.
Byron Kost led the Golden Eagles with 12 points and Steve Catich scored 10 for Tyrone, which falls to 4-6.
