A 34-year-old Bellefonte man suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 220 at the intersection with White Tail Lane in Snyder Township on Feb. 25 at 3:15 p.m.
Vincent S. Mazzotta, Jr. swerved to avoid traffic ahead of him and his vehicle rolled on its roof and slid off the road. Mazzotta was not wearing a seat belt. His vehicle had moderate damage.

A 29-year-old Antis Township woman was assaulted at her residence on Lower Riggles Gap Road in Antis Township on Feb. 25 at 8 p.m.
The woman was in her bedroom and upon exiting the room she observed a man in the home. The man assaulted the woman causing moderate injuries. The suspect fled the house after the attack.
Police said the man apparently entered the residence through an unlocked door and was surprised that the home was occupied. A search of the area was conducted after the crime was reported but the suspect was not located.
The victim was treated for her injuries at the Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Campus.
The suspect was described as a white male in his 20s to early 30s, six feet tall and weighing approximately 220 pounds with dark hair. Anyone with information on the incident should contact state police at Hollidaysburg at 696-6100.
State police were assisted by Logan Township and Bellwood police departments during the search for the suspect.

Police investigated a hit-and-run accident in Antis Township that happened on Feb. 25 at 9:30 p.m.
An unknown vehicle hit the rear of a vehicle operated by Teri Hileman of Altoona as she was turning left onto Lynne Drive from State Route 4018. The unknown vehicle fled towards Bellwood.
Hileman was wearing a seat belt and was not hurt.

An unknown person threw a rock at a vehicle along State Route 4019 in Antis Township sometime between 7 p.m. on Feb. 25 and 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 26.
The rock hit the left front side of a vehicle belonging to Jody J. Weimer of rural Altoona. The rock dented her 1994 Ford Explorer.
