Two homes in Antis Township were hit by criminal mischief last month.
Police said the incidents happened around 2 a.m. on March 18 along Kerbaugh Road, approximately a 1/2 mile south of Becker Road. Police said four juveniles arrived in the area and threw large rocks at houses belonging to Ed Sessaman and Carol Cunningham. Both houses had considerable damage to the siding. Police said arrests were still pending.

A Bellwood woman’s home was burglarized sometime between March 30 and April 11.
Police said Debra Logue of 400 Stadium Drive reported that while she was away from home for a couple of weeks, someone entered her residence and stole a pistol and several items of jewelry.

An unidentified Antis Township resident was the victim of theft and forgery earlier this month.
State police said they have two suspects in the case that involved the passing of checks belonging to the victim at the 17th Street and Pleasant Valley, Altoona Sheetz stores and a branch of Omega Bank.
The checks were passed without the victim’s permission and $550 was obtained. The suspects were described as a 34-year-old male and a 36-year-old woman.
Police said the investigation is continuing, pending the arrests of the suspects.

A Warriors Mark Township woman was the victim of criminal mischief after an incident last Friday between 12:30 and 8 a.m. on Station Road in the township.
Someone is alleged to have kicked a mailbox belonging to Donna Zimmerman. The mailbox was knocked over and damaged. Anyone with information on the crime should contact state police in Huntingdon County at 627-3161.

A Tyrone man had a grill taken from his porch in Snyder Township sometime between last Thursday and Monday of this week.
Police said someone removed a large stainless steel gas grill from the porch of Robert Snyder. The residence is located off of State Route 4027 behind Red Lion lounge.

Someone tried to burglarize a home in Antis Township last Saturday between noon and 7 p.m.
Police said unknown person(s) arrived at the home of Harry Clemmens located on State Route 4015 in the area of the Asbury Church. Upon arrival, they attempted to enter the victim’s residence by breaking a basement window. Police said they were unsuccessful in the attempt and then fled the area in an unknown direction. Nothing was stolen.

Three people escaped injury in a two-vehicle accident on State Route 1001 at the Locust Street intersection in Tipton, Antis Township on Sunday afternoon.
A pick-up truck driven by Donald Betke of Williamsburg and another vehicle driven by Jamie Focht of Tyrone were both traveling north on the road when Focht attempted to turn onto Locust Street. Betke’s pick-up approached from the rear and struck Focht’s vehicle pushing it off the road.
Betke was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Focht was also wearing a seat belt and was not injured. A juvenile passenger in Focht’s vehicle also was not injured.
