On Saturday, May 13 the women of Trinity Episcopal Church in Tyrone are planning a spring tea and fashion show in the parish hall of the church.
Their winter Victorian tea was so successful that all tickets were sold out in the first week.
It will be a lovely afternoon of shared friendship tea and marvelous desserts made by the great Trinity cooks.
Fashions from Patrice’s Boutique will be modeled by the women of the church and their friends. Unique jewelry handmade by Janet Watson will be on display and for sale.
The event will begin at 2:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased for $10 each by calling Cheryl Weydant at 944-5995.
Tables are set for eight. Reserve a table and share with friends.
Also, participants are invited to wear a garden hat. Many may still have one tucked away in the attic from the days when all ladies wore hat and gloves to afternoon parties and teas.
