Bellwood-Antis residents are gearing up for the 22nd annual Tuckahoe Street Fair, scheduled for Saturday, October 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bellwood’s Excelsior Firehall.
Currently, organizers are looking for craft persons to participate in the fair. The emphasis of the community fair is handmade arts and crafts and craft demonstrations.
This event provides an excellent opportunity for school clubs, individuals and community groups to raise funds.
However, indoor space is limited so individuals interested in acquiring table space must apply by September 1. Space will be provided on a first come-first serve basis.
For interested individuals, the fair’s vendor application provided information on the spaces available.
Locations available for set-up include the social hall and engine room. There are a limited amount of electrical outlets which will be available to the earliest applicants.
Engine room vendor spaces are eight by five feet and are available for craft and food vendors. Tables and chairs are provided for the earliest applicants.
The social hall has heating and air conditioning and is limited to crafts. There is no eating or drinking permitted. One six-foot table and two chairs are provided for vendors reserving space in the social hall.
The cost for space in the engine room is $20 or $23 with electricity. The cost for space at the social hall is $25 or $27 with electricity.
Flea market items are not acceptable. Spaces are available for other types of vendors at the discretion of the Tuckahoe Street Fair committee.
All vendors are responsible for clean-up and trash removal. Participants must take their garbage with them. Vendors may not set-up prior to 7 a.m. on Saturday. The fair will be held rain or shine.
Checks should be made payable to: Tuckahoe Street Fair. Vendor applications are available at the Bellwood-Antis Public Library.
