A garage at a residence on Grazierville Road in Tipton, Antis Township was the scene of a burglary and theft sometime between Sept. 1 and 2.
State police said someone entered an unsecured garage at the residence of Michael Francis Kensinger and took possession of archery equipment and fled the scene. The items were valued at $200.

State police investigated a criminal mischief case that happened on State Route 4018, about 1/10 of a mile east of SR 4019 in Antis Township sometime between 3 p.m. on Sept. 1 and 2 a.m. on Sept. 2.
An unknown suspect broke out the right-side front door window of a car belonging to Brett C. Robison while it was parked at a residence.

A rural Tyrone area man was the victim of a burglary in Antis Township sometime between 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 1 and 9 a.m. on Sept. 2.
Police said someone entered a shed on the property of Paul E. Swartz and removed a Homelite chainsaw.

A Tyrone driver was injured in a three-vehicle accident on State Route 220 at the intersection of State Route 350 and State Route 4027 in Snyder Township on Sept. 1 at 4:55 p.m.
Police said vehicles driven by 39-year-old Randy Scott Walk and 30-year-old Christopher Keller, both of rural Tyrone, were stopped at the intersection of SR 220 and SR 4027 in the northbound left turn lane for a red traffic control signal.
A car driven by 40-year-old Dale Johnson of Bellefonte was traveling south on SR 220. Upon approaching the intersection, Johnson began to make a left hand turn to continue traveling south on 220. While making the turn on the wet roadway, Johnson’s car crossed over a concrete barrier and struck the left rear side of Walk’s car. After hitting Walk’s vehicle, Johnson’s car continued to travel and hit head on with Keller’s pickup truck.
Johnson and Keller were both wearing seat belts and were not injured. Walk suffered a minor injury and was also wearing a seat belt. The Johnson and Walk vehicles both had moderate damage. Keller’s pickup truck had minor damage.

Two properties in Tipton, Antis Township were the scene of a burglary and an attempted burglary between 8 p.m. on Sept. 1 and 10 a.m. on Sept. 2.
State police said someone entered a shed on the property of Barry Neal, RR 5, Tyrone. A weed eater was removed from the shed. An attempt was also made to gain entry to a garage on the property of Catherine Metzger, RR 5, Tyrone. Police said the attempt failed.

A 17-year-old Tyrone youth was charged after an incident on Sept. 2 at 12:22 a.m. on North 2nd Street at the township building in Antis Township.
Police said the teenage boy took his mother’s vehicle without permission and was seen with the vehicle on North 2nd Street. The teen was taken to Tyrone Hospital after becoming sick from being highly intoxicated. Blood tests showed he was above the legal limit.
The boy was on a weekend pass from a juvenile treatment facility and was placed in the Blair County Detention Center by the Juvenile Probation office. The teenager will be charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, DUI, underage drinking and other traffic offenses.

An Altoona man suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident that happened on State Route 220 in Snyder Township on Sept. 2 at 4:50 a.m.
State police said 26-year-old Patrick W. Reed, Jr. was northbound on the road and two deer crossed in front of his van. Reed applied his brakes and lost control of the van, which went off the left side of the road into a ditch. It rolled over on its left side. Reed was wearing a seat belt.

A 45-year-old Tyrone area man has been accused in a domestic assault case.
The incident allegedly happened at a residence on Morrissey Lane in Warriors Mark Township on Sept. 2 at 5:56 p.m. Police said Gary Joe Gordon allegedly assaulted 41-year-old Catherine A. Morrissey. Authorities said Gordon slammed her into a wall and on the floor, which resulted in the woman being injured.
Gordon was arraigned before a magisterial district judge and placed in Huntingdon County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for 10 a.m. on Sept. 11.
