The annual Heritage Holidays in the Alleghenies Craft and Gift Show will be held at the Blair County Convention Center, Altoona, on November 10-12.
The Craft and Gift Show will feature quality exhibitors as well as train displays, holiday musical entertainment, presentations, visits with Santa and children’s activities.
Vendors will be in both the ballroom and exhibit hall of the Convention Center showcasing great gift and decorative items. Presentations by area experts will be held throughout the weekend including Executive Chef Michael Ferrari and Catering Manager Annie Marx sharing great holiday entertaining ideas and tastings. The Allegheny Mountains Cafe will be open with a great food and beverage menu from show opening to closing. Guests are encouraged to register for one of the door prizes from the show venders and the Allegheny Mountains Convention and Visitors Bureau at the Information Booth located inside the main entrance.
This is the third year the Craft and Gift show has been held in conjunction with the Blair County Convention Center’s Holiday Open House. Attendees are sure to notice the beautifully decorated facility with special assistance from JC Penney Altoona, including a 20 foot tree in the grand lobby. The Children’s Corner will provide several holiday craft projects for the younger guests. A large model train display will be next to the children’s crafts. An of course, Santa will be visiting all weekend with plenty of opportunities for pictures.
The Heritage Holidays Craft and Gift Show hours will be Friday from noon until 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Admission to the show is only $3 with free parking. Children five and under are admitted free.
