The first ever Tyrone and Bellwood Community Night at the Altoona Curve is scheduled for June 20 at the Blair County Ballpark. Gates open at 6 p.m., and game time is at 7:05 p.m., with the Altoona Curve taking on the Bowie Baysox.
Some of the entertainment scheduled for the evening includes: pre-game entertainment, National Anthem sung by the Tyrone Area Middle School, “God Bless America” sung by Dave Kaup, birthday announcements, drawing at the 7th inning stretch, first pitch and between inning activities. Fireworks are scheduled after the game.
