The Bellwood-Antis girls volleyball downed Juniata Valley in three straight games Tuesday, to improve their record to 10-2 overall, 9-0 in the MAC Division III, at Bellwood.
The Lady Blue Devils defeated Juniata Valley 25-18, 25-14 and 25-20 for their 45th straight division win over four years.
Chelsey Wilson had 11 service points to go along with 18 kills and eight blocks for the B-A girls. Andrea Gardner led the Lady Blue Devils defensively with 16 digs. Lauren Leap added 25 assists and nine service points, Jannell Wilt led the team with 20 service points Rachel Albright had eight blocks and a dozen service points. Alyson Sharer contributed nine service points.
In a hard-fought battle, the Juniata Valley junior varsity won two very tough games over the Bellwood-Antis junior varsity 27-25 and 25-23. Hinterberger had 11 service points to lead the Lady Blue Devil JayVees.
Bellwood-Antis will host the Mount Union girls volleyball team today with the junior varsity action beginning at 6 p.m.
