State police are investigation a forgery incident that dates back to April.
Police said they are looking into the possible forgery of a child abuse history clearance that was provided to the Tyrone Area School District by someone who applied for a teaching position at the school.

State police have filed charges against a 36-year-old Tyrone man stemming from a hit-and-run incident on Oct. 7.
Police said Todd A. Green was charged with a third degree misdemeanor count related to accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle or property along with several summary vehicle code violations.

A 24-year-old Duncansville woman, Amber M. Hazenstab, was involved in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 1013, about five miles north of State Route 2001 in Tyrone Township on Oct. 21 at 5:45 p.m.
Hazenstab was traveling north on Route 1013 when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a right-hand curve. Hazenstab lost control of her vehicle and it did a 180-degree turn as it traveled off the road onto the east berm. Once on the east berm, the vehicle rolled onto its left side. The vehicle then began traveling down a small embankment and rolled onto its roof. The vehicle came to a rest on its roof facing south.
Hazenstab suffered minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt. Her vehicle had moderate damage.

A vehicle was damaged in the parking lot of Racer’s Bar in Snyder Township as a result of a hit and run incident that happened sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 21 and 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 22.
Police said a parked and unattended car was hit on the right side and dented by an unidentified vehicle. The unidentified driver left the scene without making any notification to the owner of the parked 2002 Ford Escort. Anyone with information on the hit-and-run vehicle or driver should contact Pennsylvania State Police at 696-6100.

A Warriors Mark woman and her passenger escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident on Oct. 22 at 12:15 a.m. on State Route 350, two miles south of Warriors Mark.
Tina Almashie was driving north on State Route 350 when her vehicle veered off the right berm and traveled up an embankment and struck a utility pole.
Both Almashie and her passenger, 47-year-old William Sible were not hurt. They were both wearing seat belts. Almashie’s vehicle had moderate damage.
