Helen M. Whitsel, 61, of Pennsylvania House, 2 W. 11th Street, Tyrone, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006 at 2:50 p.m. at Tyrone Hospital.
She was born Dec. 5, 1945 in Huntingdon, a daughter of Michael and Eva (Kelly) Whitsel.
Surviving are two sons: Donald E. Painter, Jr. of Elizabethtown, Michael D. Painter of Red Lion; two brothers: Thomas Whitsel and David Whitsel of Shirleysburg and a sister Freda Whitsel of Altoona.
Mrs. Whitsel was formerly employed in the kitchen at Tyrone Hospital.
There will be no services or public viewing. Arrangements are by the Feller Memorial Home.
