The Warriors Mark Township Supervisors scheduled a special meeting this morning to appoint a new Township Supervisor.
The new Supervisor will join Supervisors L. Stewart Neff and Rodney L. Marshall on the board.
The opening occurred when Township Supervisor Donald Bickle passed away in January. Bickle held two positions, Township Supervisor and Roadmaster.
Supervisor Chairman L. Stewart Neff assumed the Roadmaster duties on a temporary basis. The appointment on Thursday morning will be for the Supervisor position.
By law, Warriors Mark Township has one month to appoint a new Supervisor to hold that position until the next election if a current Township Supervisor resigns or passes away in the middle of their term.
