Police reports from Hollidaysburg, Huntingdon and Philipsburg State Police
SR 453 in Birmingham Borough was the scene of a DUI February 25.
Huntingdon State Police report that Kevin M. Anders, age 52 of Alexandria, was charged with DUI as a result of an ongoing investigation into this crash.

An incident of theft from motor vehicle was reported on Grandview Road in Antis Township.
Heather Gutshall of Altoona reported that her purse had been stolen from her car.

SR 452 was the scene of a one vehicle accident March 7.
Cheryl Sims of Tyrone was traveling south on SR 453 when her vehicle had a mechanical problem causing it to swerve to the left and strike a rock embankment.

An incident of criminal trespass was reported on Cherry St. in Antis Township March 8.
Tonya Hardy, age 31 of Antis Township reported that she arrived home on the above date and heard someone walk around in her apartment. She found an open window. Nothing was reported missing and the victim did not see the suspect.

Old route 220 was the scene of a two vehicle accident approximately one mile north of Port Matilda Borough March 9.
Jessica Shearer, age 20 of Altoona, was traveling south and allegedly failed to observe the vehicle operated by William Coll, age 49 of Pittsburgh which was stopped in front of her due to heavy traffic congestion. Shearer applied her breaks, but was unable to stop and slid into the back of the Coll vehicle.
Shearer will be cited for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
Shearer, Coll, and all passengers in their vehicles were wearing seatbelts and were not injured.

There was a loitering and prowling incident at the residence near the intersection of Bellmeade Drive and Alpine Drive in Antis Township March 9.
A prowler was reported to have been seen outside a back porch in the above area. He was described as being a white male between the ages of 25 and 35, approximately 5’11’, wearing blue jeans and a gray and black hooded sweat shirt.

An incident of harassment was reported in Antis Township March 10.
Robert J. Shawley, age 40 of Altoona, and a 17-year-old juvenile female became engaged in a verbal altercation.
This resulted in Shawley allegedly shoving and striking the above juvenile. Shawley is being charged with assault harassment.
