The Warriors Mark Preschool is a Christian-based preschool program offered to three through five-year-olds to prepare the children for school.
The preschool is located at the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church at 1840 Centre Line Road, Warriors Mark. The preschool offers a two-day a week or three-day a week class, with classes being held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. September through May.
The preschool strives to work on pre-academic skills such as social, self-help, physical and cognitive development. The class day includes centers, circle time, stories, snack, gym and arts/crafts time. Students also work on letter, color, shape and number recognition. The children enjoy field trips to places such as the fire hall, post office, pumpkin patch and the Pittsburgh Zoo. Guests are also invited like the Shrine circus clowns, a police officer and baking/pastry college students to share stories about their careers.
The Willing Warriors Fellowship Group and the pastor at the church visits with the students on a regular basis.
The preschool also offers the children a religion base which includes Bible stories and songs as well as a Christmas program.
Also, preschoolers’ artwork is being showcased in the Dance Fusion windows in downtown Tyrone.
The Warriors Mark Preschool provides a loving, creative learning environment for a child’s first school experience.

Tip: Look for books that are about things that interest your child. Make reading fun so it can be a time that you and your child enjoy spending together.
