Charles K. ‘Sonny’ Waite Jr., 58, of 2 West 11th Street, Tyrone died Thursday morning May 10, 2007 at his residence.
He was born July 18, 1948 in Philipsburg, a son of Charles K. Sr. and Theresa E. (Iavasile) Waite.
Surviving is a cousin, Shirley Hosband of Bellemeade, an aunt Josephine Hillard and a special friend Yvette Booher of Tyrone.
He was a member of the Howard Gardner American Legion, Hookies Fire Company and the Tyrone VFW. He served as cook at the Bullpen Restaurant and Lounge, Tyrone for a number of years and at several other restaurants and clubs in the area.
Memorial services will be held Monday, May 14, 2007 at 7 p.m. at Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Andrew Bradley officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
