SR 550 in Halfmoon Township was the scene of a one vehicle accident, May 25.
Philipsburg State Police report that Ronald McCleester, age 23, of Warriors Mark was traveling south and descending a slight grade into a right curve. He drove off the road and the right front of his truck struck the metal guiderail. This impact caused his truck to spin in a clockwise direction and continue in the southbound lane, where it went off the roadway and struck an embankment and rolled over. His truck came to rest on its left side partially on the roadway.

SR 865 in Antis Township was the scene of a two vehicle accident, May 26.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that as both vehicles were traveling north on SR 865, Robert Edward Deyarmin III, of Altoona observed a small creature, which was lurking in the weeds, along the east side of the road. His observation caused him to quickly slow down for fear the creature may run onto the road and he didn’t want to injure it if it did. As he slowed down, Jason English of Harrison City, PA failed to stop, causing him to strike the rear of Deyarmin’s vehicle.

A one vehicle accident and hit-and-run occurred along SR 4025, Hoover’s Lane, in Snyder Township, May 27.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that Lester Paul Hampton Jr., age 31, of Tyrone was traveling south on Hoover’s Lane and lost control negotiating a slight right curve in the roadway. He traveled off the road to the right making initial impact with a utility pole with the front right portion of his truck. The utility pole was sheared off during impact. Prior to the officer’s arrival on the scene, Hampton had moved his truck from the final resting position and parked in a private lot on the west berm of Hoover’s Lane. Hampton fled the scene.

Anders Garage in Snyder Township was the scene of a burglary, May 28.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that unknown actor(s) threw a bicycle peg stand through the window of the garage. They opened the window and went inside. Nothing was stolen from the garage.
The investigation continues.

SR 2017 in Worth Township was the scene of a DUI on May 19.
Philipsburg State Police report that Duncan Russell Zabik, age 24, of Warriors Mark was observed traveling east on the above roadway. During this time, Zabik proceeded to travel off the roadway onto the south berm and then onto the yellow double lines on several occasions.
A traffic stop was conducted and he was found to be intoxicated. Zabik was transported to Tyrone Hospital for testing. The investigation continues pending BAC results.

An incident including reckless endangering, DUI, and fleeing occurred along Old Route 220 in Antis Township, May 20.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that Roy W. Patterson, age 38, and Kevin C. Foster, age 25, both of Altoona were observed traveling south along the above roadway just north of Pinecroft. A traffic stop was attempted and the vehicle increased speed and began to flee. The vehicle had three flat tires and continued to travel south, turning onto Dartmouth Lane, then onto St. Francis Lane. The vehicle finally spun out and came to rest blocking the roadway.
Upon coming to a stop, both of the above actors exited the vehicle and began to flee on foot. Both men were taken into custody. A vehicle registration number was obtained and police learned that the vehicle was stolen from Coconuts Bar, earlier this same date.
Both men were transported to Hollidaysburg State Police barracks, where Blair County Adult Probation was contacted. It was verified that both men were on adult probation and detainers were issued. They were then housed in Blair County Prison. Charges will be filed for receiving stolen property, fleeing, eluding, reckless endangering, DUI, resisting arrest, and other criminal and traffic violations.

A harassment incident occurred in Grazierville, Snyder Township, May 21.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that Wayne Yeager of Tyrone received three threatening phone calls from an unknown person.
The investigation is continuing.

An incident of receiving stolen property occurred at the Martin General Store in Antis Township, May 22.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that Kristopher Gardner, age 40, of Tyrone was at the listed location in possession of a vehicle owned by Jeffrey Lenz and Debra Beasom of Altoona. Lenz and Beasom reported the vehicle stolen to Altoona City Police on May 20.

An incident of criminal mischief occurred in Snyder Township, May 22.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that Lynne M. Dirkse, age 35, of Tyrone, damaged a basement door glass at a home of someone known to her with a large rock, causing approximately $200 worth of damage. She is being charged with criminal mischief.

Snappy’s Convenience Store parking lot in Snyder Township was the scene of a hit-and-run crash, May 24.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that an unknown operator struck a trailer owned by Villeneuve Tank Lines from Cornwall, Ontario.
The unknown operator fled the scene.
