The Tyrone Lady Eagle volleyball team fell to the Lady Eagles from Bald Eagle Area last night in a three game sweep. Tyrone did not go down easily at first but BEA’s  height took over and Tyrone could not overcome the kills from Dani Reese, BEA top hitter.
Tyrone, under first year coach Jim Cushion, is playing six underclassmen and play nine deep in the rotation. Tyrone was led by junior Kristen Fry’s five service points and five digs but the Lady eagles lost 25-7, 25-4 and 25-7.
“We have to serve better, if you can’t get the ball over the net in rally scoring it is a point for the opponent, we cannot afford that.” Cushion said.  “We are improving in some areas and we need to work on our passing.”
Tyrone is now 0-2 on the season.
