The Women’s Club of Tyrone recently made a donation to the Tyrone-Snyder Public Library. The money was raised by selling rib dinners at the annual Community Labor Day picnic held at Reservoir Park. The ribs were donated by BiLo. At the library to present a check of the proceeds were Women’s Club members Elaine Conrad, left, and Wendy Boytim, far right. Acting library director Judie Adams, middle, accepted the check on the library’s behalf. Other upcoming events for Women’s Club include the annual quilt chance giveaway at Harvestfest this weekend at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park, and members will also be selling homemade pies at Farm City Day on Saturday, October 6 at Reservoir Park.
