Frederick E. Bartlebaugh, age 75, of 1360 Pennsylvania Avenue, Tyrone died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 7:05 p.m. at his residence. He was born October 23, 1932 in Snyder Township, the son of Thomas Gray and Isabel Bartlebaugh. He was married to Anna Hatch who preceded him in death March 17, 1994. He is survived by two sons, Gary Bartlebaugh and Kevin Bartlebaugh; and one daughter, Anna Bartlebaugh, all of Tyrone. Also surviving are five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three sisters – Jean Miller and Alberta, both of Tyrone, and Irene of Bellwood. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul and a daughter, Betty.
He had been employed prior to retirement as a caretaker at Grandview Cemetery. He was a member of the Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder Fire Company.
Private service and interment in Grandview Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc.
