Damaged windshield
Between the dates of October 4-20, Zachary Kurtz, 23, Warriors Mark reported to state police that an actor damaged the front windshield of his parked truck. The truck was parked next to his garage on his own property on Firehouse Lane, Warriors Mark Township.

Two vehicle crash
State police reported on October 20 a 16 year old female from Tyrone was driving along SR 1001 in Antis Township and turned left in an attempt to turn onto SR 865. However, she turned directly in front of a vehicle driven by Malcolm Detwiler of Tyrone, which was south bound on SR 1001. Both drivers were transported to the Altoona Emergency Room via ambulance for treatment of injuries. The accident scene was controlled by Excelsior No. 1 Fire Company. State police did not report if either passenger was or was not wearing seat belts.

Endzone dance
On October 21, state police reported an incident of underage consumption by Brandon C. Grannas, 19, Bellwood who consumed an alcoholic beverage, particularly a Budweiser beer, in the parking lot of the Endzone in Huston Township. Charges will be filed at District Magistrate Sinclair’s office.

Crash
State police reported a crash on October 21 along SR 4019, Antis Township when Elaine Ruth Peachey, 39, Altoona suffered chest and head injuries due to her failure to fully negotiate her 2003 Jeep Liberty through a left curve in the roadway. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway a short distance, re-entered and crossed into the opposite lane of travel. The vehicle traveled sideways into the proper lane, off the right side of the roadway and struck a pine tree. Airbags were deployed and indications are that Peachey was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
