The Eagles (6-1) went on to outlast the Dragons 45-40, climbing to the top of the Nittany Division of the Mountain League. The Eagles will continue their season on Thursday against Bishop Guilfoyle at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, December 27 and 29, at the Great Chevy Shootout, held at Bishop Guilfoyle High School. The Tyrone girls team is also involved and will open against Bishop Guilfoyle at 6 p.m. on Thursday evening. Tyrone basketball fans are encouraged to attend for some great holiday sports action.
