Harassment
State police reported in Taylor Township on December 21 an incident of harassment occurred when Samantha Ann McAllister, 22, Tyrone and Robert G. McAllister, 48, Tyrone became involved in a verbal argument. While arguing, Robert McAllister allegedly pushed Samantha McAllister causing her to fall down. Harassment charges were filed before District Justice Allen Sinclair against the accused.

Gas theft
On December 24, state police reported a gasoline theft at Snappy’s store at the intersection of SR 220 and SR 350. A female in a green pick-up truck with green matching cap pumped $52 worth of gasoline and left the store without paying.

Really, really thirsty
State police reported on the night of December 24 unknown suspect(s) entered a parked trailer, owned by the Pepsi Bottling Group of Johnstown, in a lot along SR 4027 by Baughman Hollow Road, Snyder Township. Upon entry, suspect(s) removed 112 two-liter bottles of Mt. Dew soda and three cases of Diet Pepsi cans. Anyone with information is to call PSP Hollidaysburg at 814-696-6100.

DUI accident
On December 28, state police reported John P. Meredith, Jr., 51, Tyrone was traveling west on SR 4023 in Antis Township and Gary J. Miller, 42, Tyrone was traveling east on SR 4023. Meredith traveled partially into the eastbound lane of SR 4023 and the left front end of his vehicle struck the left front end of Miller’s vehicle. Meredith was not wearing a seat belt. Miller was wearing a seat belt, along with passengers Karen Miller, 41; Joshua Miller, 1; and Aaron Miller, 7, who were all belted. No injuries were reported. State police investigation into the accident gives reason to believe that Meredith was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Charges for Meredith are pending due to a search warrant for hospital records for Blood Alcohol Content results.

PFA violation
State police reported on December 28 Jamie Vance of Salisbury, MD was charged with violating a protection from abuse order after he sent emails to Jannette Davis of Bellwood who has a PFA against him. The incident occurred along S. Third Street in Bellwood Borough.

Accident
On December 29, state police reported Ryan McCloskey of Bellwood was traveling east on Riggles Gap Road in Antis Township and lost control going off the road where the front of his vehicle hit a tree. McCloskey was cited for failing to drive on roadways laned for traffic and an inspection violation. McCloskey was wearing his seat belt and was not injured.

Hit and run
State police reported on December 31 that an unknown operator was traveling south on SR 220 near the Blair County line, Taylor Township, and exited the west berm and struck a mailbox. A green in color piece of plastic that can be attributed to the unknown driver’s vehicle was retrieved from the scene. Anyone with information can contact PSP Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.

Hit with phone
On January 1 state police reported during an argument between family members at the Bower residence off of Kerbaugh Road in Antis Township, a known suspect to police called 911 to report the disturbance. The suspect, with the phone receiver in hand, struck Violet Lee Pfahler, 48, Tyrone, in the face. Pfahler was treated at Altoona Regional Health System for her injury. Investigation continues.
