Recently, the Bald Eagle Volunteer Fire Company’s Quick Response Service (QRS) team was re-certified for another three years to serve the community. The QRS service has been responding to an average of 70 to 80 calls a year. There are four EMTs, four RNs and five LPNs currently involved with the QRS team. Fire Chief Scott Illig said if anybody in the area that is in the medical field would want to get involved with Bald Eagle’s QRS team, they are asked to contact the fire department. Shown above are members of the QRS, from left: John Kephart, Dale Murray and his son Caleb, Ron Iddings holding the certificate, Paul Morrison and Chris Leamer. (The Daily Herald/Kris Yaniello)
