Representatives for Tyrone Hospital’s new Interim Care Program will be on hand tomorrow morning as guest speakers for the monthly Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast.
The breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. at Joe’s Place. Tickets are $6 in advance or at the door.
Speakers at the breakfast are scheduled to be: Annette Lynn, Director of Case Management; Shelly Hanczar, OTR and Chris Illig, LPN, Interim Care Coordinator.
The topic of discussion will be Tyrone Hospital’s Interim Care Program, which is a new service at Tyrone Hospital. The program is a short-term inpatient rehabilitation program.
Another upcoming event for the Chamber is Advantage Night, scheduled for Thursday, August 28. The Advantage Night, previously known as Business After Hours, begins at 5:15 p.m. for reception and networking and lasts until 7 p.m.
This Advantage Night everyone is encouraged to dress casually for a “Good Ole’ Picnic in the Country” to be hosted by Windy Hill Furniture, Route 453, five miles south of Tyrone.
Bring a business card for the door prize drawings at 6 p.m.
Advanced reservations are due by Aug. 25, and the cost per person is $5 pre-paid at the Chamber office.
Finally, the Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce’s second annual Ben DelBaggio Memorial Golf Outing is scheduled to be held on Thursday, September 18 at the Sinking Valley Country Club.
Be sure to register by September 6 for this four-person scramble. An 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. shotgun start will kick off the classic.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Tyrone-Snyder Public Library.
A lunch will be provided, and prizes, awards and snacks will be given out throughout the day.
