An “In honor of” blood drive will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
“Who’s Life have you saved?”
Emmanuel Baptist Church will be holding an “in honor of” blood drive on Wednesday, March 19 from 1-7 p.m. at its location on 10th Street, Tyrone.
This blood drive is in honor of member, Luther Sprankle who received blood products as part of his treatment for a past illness.
Luther is now fully recovered and wants people to know this is the “Gift of Life” someone donated and saved his.
All presenting donors will receive a vintage Red Cross t-shirt and have a chance to win one of three $20 gift certificates to “The Family Chill and Grill/Firehouse Pizza And Subs”.
As always there will be free food and hospitality. And first time donors will receive a special gift and extra special treatment!
As a reminder 16-year-olds can now give blood in Pennsylvania! Everyone is urged to come out to this blood drive at E.B.C. and donate blood!
Luther’s family and friends are grateful for this opportunity to bring awareness to the American Red Cross and the importance of donating blood.
