On June 27, the Tyrone BassMasters took to the waters at Sayers Lake, for their first of four night tournaments. The weather was good and so was the fishing!
Randy Rawlings of Mill Creek, bested all anglers, by boating a five-fish limit weighing in at 11.87 pounds for his first win of the early season. Randy also captured the Lunker Award with a 3.74-pound largemouth bass.
Second place was grabbed by Metz Weko of Hungary Hollow, as he tipped the scales with five fish weighing a total of 9,80 pounds. Weko also maintained his overall club lead.
Big Dan Garber of Graziersville, took third place with five fish weighing a total of 7.84 pounds. Fourth place was captured by Bill Keough of Pennsylvania Furnace with four fish totaling 7.70 pounds.
The Tyrone BassMasters’ next tournament will be held in New York at Chatauqua Lake this weekend, on July 19 and 20.
