Thomas Clinton Yeager, 69, of 136 N. Hawthorne Drive, Altoona, died Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the Golden Living Center, Hillview, Altoona, after a lengthy illness.
He was born June 30, 1939 in Snyder Township, PA, a son of Clarence and Mary (Green) Yeager.
He was married February 14, 1975 in Tyrone to Carol Ann Stonebraker.
He is survived by his wife and two step-sons: Rodney Eugene Hartman of Tyrone RD 3 and Robert Wayne Hartman of Tyrone.
Grandchildren Nicole and Breanna Hartman and three great-grandchildren.
Sisters – Eva Tuskavich of Sinking Valley and Hannah Zimmerman of Thomastown. There are several nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of Tyrone High School in 1958 and served four years in the Air Force. He enjoyed farming and gardening.
He retired in 2001 from the Chicago Rivet & Machine Company after 30 years service.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 21, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Pastor Roy G. Garthwaite officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and one hour before the service on Monday.
Interment will be at Baughman Cemetery.
