Playing the bagpipes, Keith Beisel opened and closed the Spiritual Irish Heritage Service held Sunday evening at Tyrone Area High School, bringing to a close a week of the town’s celebration. The program also included a solo, ‘You Raise Me Up’, by Ron Hildebrand, and musical selections by the Allegheny Chorale. Also participating in the program, from left were the Rev. Peggy Bonsell of the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church who brought the message including interesting history bits of the community, the Rev. Norman Huff as master of ceremonies, Rachael Eardly who played two selections on the Celtic Harp and Keith Beisel. (The Daily Herald/Virgie Werner)
