Grace Evelyn Gunsallus, 79, formerly of RD 3, Tyrone, died Saturday afternoon at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home where she was a resident for the past three years.
She was born August 6, 1928 in Tyrone, a daughter of Frank E. and Margaret H. (Montgomery) Magill.
She was married June 20, 1946 at Winchester, Va. to James H. Gunsallus who died in 1979.
She is survived by a daughter Betsy Renwick (Charles) of RD 3 Box 54, Tyrone and a grandson Scott Renwick.
Her caregivers for many years, a niece Karen L. and Fred Rutherford of RD 3, Tyrone.
Three sisters and one brother: Betty Meek of Philipsburg, Pa., Joan O. Decker and Jean Iddings of Tyrone, and Albert Magill of Shiremanstown, Pa.
There are several nieces and nephews.
She attended the Church of the Good Shepherd and was once active in the Bald Eagle Grange and Senior Citizens Groups.
She retired in 1970 from Big Yank Corp. after 26 years service.
By request of the deceased there will be no viewing or services.
Interment will be at Bald Eagle Cemetery.
Arrangements were by the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone.
