The Tyrone boys soccer team (1-6) picked up their first victory of the season on Saturday at home against Great Commission. Bellwood-Antis co-op student Adam Celmo kicked in the game winner in the second half at the 22:04 mark, after the two schools fought to a 1-1 draw after the first half. Anthony Henneman had an assist on Celmo’s goal.
In the opening half, Josh Burwell gave Tyrone a 1-0 advantage with an assist from Emily Burget.
Great Commission tied the score 1-1, with an unassisted goal by Brown.
