I-99 Tyrone Viaduct painting begins

PennDOT has announced that beginning on Monday, June 2 work on the I-99 Tyrone Viaduct in Snyder Township, Blair County will begin.
The work on this project consists of the cleaning, blasting and painting of the Tyrone Viaduct and the associated ramps.
Delays are not expected with this project and interference with traffic will be minimal.
Bridges R Us Painting, Co. Inc., of Campbell, OH is the contractor on the $2.9 million project. Work is expected to be completed in August 2009.
