Drama/comedy workshops to be sponsored by Tyrone Community Players

Jim McDonald, a Tyrone native who spent 12 years working as a professional actor in Florida and Hollywood, will be the instructor for an 8-week series of acting workshops sponsored by The Tyrone Community Players.
McDonald has much experience as a principle character on stage, in films and in episodic television and commercials. His training was with industry professionals via ongoing workshops, theater groups, film and television intensives and personal coaches.
The workshops, which will begin on February 12, will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Thursday evening classes will be flexible according to the individual participant’s own schedule.
The workshops are open to all persons, regardless of level of experience, from 18 years of age and above. Reservations are encouraged and may be made by phoning 684-1168 or the ArtsLine at 684-ART2.
