District gold

Tyrone sophomore A.J. Schopp (far right) won the 112-pound weight class at the District 6-AA Tournament at the Altoona Fieldhouse on Saturday night to join teammate Ronnie Garbinsky, who won a district crown at 103, and Anthony Romano (125) who finished fifth, and Shayne Tate (171), who finished fourth, as Tyrone Regional qualifiers. Left to right are the five district qualifiers at 112, for the Southwest Regional next weekend (Feb. 29-March 1).
