The students of Tyrone Area High School are working hard for their upcoming musical production, “West Side Story”, which is scheduled for April 25-26 beginning at 7:30 p.m. both evenings in the high school auditorium.
Tickets are now available at the main office or by calling 684-4240 ext. 3700.
Set on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, the musical explores the rivalry between two teenage gangs of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

His school activities include POPS and Ski Club. Ty plans to attend college after graduation.
He said of preparing for the musical production, “The cast is full of wonderful people. It makes rehearsals a really good time.”
Ty added, “Mrs. Cathy Young deserves a world of thanks for all the work she puts into Tyrone musicals. She expends a lot of time and energy for this thing, and this deserves to be recognized.”
