The aroma of turkeys roasting in the oven filled the sanctuary of Christ United Methodist Church Sunday morning as the kitchen crew in the basement prepared a Thanksgiving dinner served following the service. The full course meal included seven large turkeys and 26 pumpkin pies along with all the other trimmings. Tom and Tammy Bradford were in charge of the kitchen. In the top photo, Tom Bradford, left, stomps the mashed potatoes while Delbert Hamer holds the kettle still. One hundred persons ate at the church and numerous dinners were delivered to shut-ins.
