Samuel David Johnson Kirk, 23, of 356 Jefferson Avenue, Tyrone, PA died Monday morning at his residence.
He was born January 10, 1985 in Altoona, the son of James S.A. Kirk and Connie R. Johnson.
He is survived by his father James S.A. Kirk of Hollidaysburg and his mother Connie J. Rhoades and his step-father, Stephen B. Rhoades of Tyrone.
A sister Jennifer J. Panasiti and niece Jenna of State College and grandparents Gene A. and Carolyn Johnson of Tyrone.
An uncle, John Kirk and cousins David and Jeanie of Pittsburgh; Uncle Gene A. Johnson, II of Roaring Spring and Aunt Jill Welch and cousins Susannah and Naomi in Tyrone.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Dr. David J. and Ruth A. Kirk and an aunt, Polly Borman.
He was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School in 2003, where he was active on the swim team. He enjoyed art, playing the guitar, and paint ball.
Private viewing and services will be at the convenience of the family with Reverend Barry E. Neal officiating.
Arrangements were by the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone.
