The Tyrone girls volleyball team lost to Mount Union on Thursday evening in three games.
Tyrone took the first game 15-12, but dropped the second 3-15 to force the rubbermatch. Mount Union also won the third game 15-10 to send the Lady Eagles to just their second loss in nine contests.
Lindsey Bailey had seven service points and five kills to front the Tyrone girls, who were playing for the third straight night.
“We fell behind early in all three games and seemed to be playing uphill all night,” explained Tyrone coach Dave Eckberg.“Mount Union always plays tough defense, ”
The Tyrone girls junior varsity team dropped two straight games.
