DelGrosso’s Amusement Park in Tipton has many activities to offer this summer, starting with Summer Thunder 2007 on July 4.
The free country concerts will continue on Sunday, July 8 with Joe Diffie at 3 and 7 p.m. There will also be a Blair County antique auto show that day.
The Bellwood-Antis Community Picnic and all class reunion will be held July 20 and the Native American Pow Wow is slated for July 21 and 22.
Tyrone Community day is set for August 3 and another free country concert is scheduled for August 5. Jeff Bates will perform at 3 and 7 p.m. A GM car show will also be held.
The March of Dimes Rubber Duck Regatta will be held this year on August 12. For more information, call 1-800-258-4159.
Two-Ton’s Tomato Tally, Tipton’s tomato weigh-off will be held August 22. Call 684-4918 for more information on that event.
The annual Frontline Ministries Youthfest Weekend is scheduled for September 1 and 2 this year. Visit www.frontlineministries.com to learn about this event.
Also, that Saturday will be the Hand of Hope Motorcycle Run with a free concert featuring Chris Woodward at 6 p.m.
On Sunday, a free Christian concert will feature Sanctus Real at 3 and 7 p.m.
Labor Day is customer appreciation day and on September 3, all day ride and slide passes are just $2.99.
A British car show will be featured September 9.
September 15 and 16 will be 60th anniversary celebration weekend.
As the season winds down, the weekend of September 22-23 will feature a special $10 a carload weekend sale.
September 23 is the annual Italian Food and Heritage Festival and Harvestfest is slated for September 29-30 with $4 admission, including rides.
September 30 will also feature the last of the country concerts with Ronnie McDowell performing at 3 and 6 p.m. An AACA auto show will also be held.
