Bessie E. Sollenberger, age 87, of RD#2 Box 6, Williamsburg, died Thursday, Novemebr 28, 2002 at Epworth Manor, Tyrone, after a brief illness.
She was born April 10, 1915 in Williamsburg, RD., the daughter of the late Frank and Lizzie (Bechtel) Troxell.
She married Edgar K. Sollenberger July 25, 1937 at the Lutheran Church parsonage in Freeport, Pa. Mr. Sollenberger passed away August 2, 1986.
She was a member of the Williamsburg Church of the Brethern.
Mrs. Sollenberger was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, sweing, chocheting and reading.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth A. Sollenberger of Tyrone and Robert A. Sollenberger of Williamsburg, RD#2.
She is also survived by six grandchildren Kathy Jo Sollenberger, Karen Sue Miler, Derek Sollenberger, Trina Saylor, Darin Sollenberger and Traci Young and eight greatgrandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday at the Bolger Funeral Home, Williamsburg where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday with Pastor Charles G. Sprowls officiating. Interment will be at Shelleytown-Fairview Cemetery, Williamsburg, RD.
