Golden Trucking broke open a scoreless battle with three runs in the third inning, on the way to a 6-1 win over Nelsons in VFW Area 4 Teener League baseball.
B. Mingle with three hits, including a home run and double and three runs scored and J. Clark with a single and double led the attack for Golden Trucking. T. Graham added a double.
B. Mingle tossed the complete-game win, allowing one run on four hits, striking out seven and walking one.
T. Gillman doubled for Nelsons.
J. Levinson took the loss yielding six runs on nine hits, striking out seven and walking five.
Golden Trucking added single tallies in the fourth, fifth and sixth, while Nelsons scored their only run in the top of the fifth.
