Hollidaysburg state police
Police were called to Thompson Town Road in Snyder Township at 5:20 a.m. Saturday to investigate an accident.
Police said Doris C. Studer of Hummelstown attempted to turn her vehicle around at a railroad crossing when her 1990 Plymouth Acclaim became stuck on the tracks. Police said Ms. Studer exited the vehicle and walked to Tyrone.
Police said while walking to Tyrone, a Norfolk Southern train, operated by Stanley Blazer of Williamsport, struck the vehicle and pushed it approximately .2 miles.
No injuries were reported.

Faye Catherine Szebin of Galloway, Ohio, reported to police that while visiting relatives along Parkside Drive in Tipton, someone threw fireworks onto her vehicle while parked overnight July 4. Police said her 1999 Buick Century convertible was damaged.

Police were called to Teaberry Street in Snyder Township at 2:35 a.m. Saturday to investigate a domestic disturbance.
A 33-year-old Tyrone woman reported that she and a known male engaged in an argument at her residence. During the course of the argument, the man slapped the woman and she slapped him back.

Police were called to township Route 508, approximately .2 miles east of state Route 4021 in Antis Township, at 12:01 a.m. Saturday to investigate an accident.
Police said Bridgit Fawn Meredith of Tipton was eastbound on Stetter lane and while rounding a turn, observed a deer standing in the roadway. Police said Meredith swerved to miss the deer and lost control of her 2000 Chevy Cavalier. The vehicle left the roadway and traveled into a field on the south side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Meredith suffered minor injuries. Her vehicle sustained severe damage.
