Motorists in Blair County found some relief at the pumps this morning.
The average price per gallon of regular unleaded at the nine fuel stations in the area was $1.60, a 9-cent drop from last week. All the stations, except for the Amoco station on Pennsylvania Avenue posted $1.59 per gallon for their regular-grade of gasoline. The Amoco station had its regular grade at $1.69.
On average, mid-grade prices equaled out at a little more than $1.67 per gallon and premium fuel averaged a little more than $1.72 per gallon.
In Tyrone, prices at the Amoco station were $1.69 per gallon for regular unleaded and $1.79 for its “Super Unleaded.” At the Sheetz store at the corner of 14th Street and Logan Avenue, regular unleaded was priced at $1.59 per gallon; $1.65 for mid-grade; and $1.71 for premium.
At the Choice Store at the corner of Logan Avenue and West Tenth Street, regular unleaded was priced at $1.59 per gallon; $1.65 for mid-grade; and $1.71 for premium. The Uni-Mart at the corner of West 20th Street and Adams Avenue was selling regular unleaded for $1.59 per gallon; $1.65 for mid-grade; and $1.71 for premium.
The Kwik Fill station, located near the Bull Pen on Old Route 220, was selling regular unleaded for $1.59 per gallon and $1.71 per gallon for its “Premium” brand.
In Tipton, the Exxon station at Rossi Corner Store posted at $1.59 per gallon for regular unleaded; $1.65 for mid-grade; and $1.71 for premium.
In Antis Township, the Sheetz store, located at the intersection of Old Route 220 and state Route 865, sold regular unleaded at $1.59 per gallon; $1.65 for mid-grade; and $1.71 for premium. Neighboring Martin’s General Store had the same prices at $1.59 per gallon for regular unleaded; $1.65 for mid-grade; and $1.71 for premium.
Snappy’s in Bald Eagle had prices of $1.59 for regular unleaded; $1.68 for mid-grade; and $1.78 for premium.
