Hollidaysburg state police
Police report a white male, approximately 20-years-old, and driving a red, Chevy S-10 truck pumped $10.97 worth of regular unleaded gas into his truck between 3-4:05 p.m. Wednesday at Martin’s General Store in Antis Township.
After pumping the gas, he went inside and told the clerk he forgot his wallet and asked if he could pay for the gas in the morning while he was on his way to work. The clerk told him that she needed him to return and pay for the gas prior to 9 p.m., the end of her shift.
The male said he would, but never returned.

Robert E. Myers and James R. Lego Jr. of Tyrone reported to police that someone smashed their mailboxes sometime between noon and 2 p.m. Friday.

Police were called to the intersection of state route 220 and 350 in Snyder Township at 5 p.m. Saturday to investigate a hit-and-run accident.
Police said Ann E. Davis of Bellefonte was turning right at the Bald Eagle intersection when she was rear-ended by a red car, which fled on SR 350 northbound.

A woman reported to police that someone took the starter from her vehicle while it was parked at the Teaberry Street complex in Snyder Township on Friday.

Police report a driver from Smith Transport was arrested by PSP Chambersburg police on an out-of-state warrant at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday. Police said Smith Transport Inc. cooperated with both PSP and Tennessee Police to bring about the arrest.
After the arrest was made, the Smith Truck was impounded until Smith Transport Inc. could make arrangement to pick up the truck. Smith Transport Inc. picked up the truck on Sept. 10 and upon returning it to the terminal, a small amount of drugs and paraphernalia was discovered in the truck.

Police received a report from a Tyrone juvenile stating he was shot in the back with a BB gun while walking along Clay Avenue at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. A suspect has been named and the investigation is continuing.

Police report two tires on a vehicle parked at Minuet Manor in Antis Township were slashed at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police report Jaime Gonzalez Mejia, 49, of Tyrone was arrested for driving under the influence at 12:56 a.m. on Friday following a routine traffic stop along SR 1011 in Antis Township.

Police report the theft of a motor vehicle.
Police said between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 4, someone stole a 1998 Buick Park Avenue owned by Benjamin Wilkins of Altoona. Police said the vehicle was parked in Martin’s supermarket in Bellemeade when the incident occurred.
The vehicle was recovered the next day in the same area.
Anyone with information about people possibly taking and stealing cars to go “joyriding” in them is asked to contact police.
