The Daily Herald is always trying to think of ways to enhance your enjoyment of its newspaper.
On Friday, September 28, our annual Fall Home Improvement Guide will feature pages stuffed with information on how to improve your home this fall. Local experts and businesses will showcase their products and national writers will offer tips to have your home ready for another possible tough winter season.
And this years edition will be even more special as The Daily Herald has teamed up with two Tyrone businesses to present “Changing Places.”
Based on the popular “Trading Spaces” television show on The Learning Channel, this contest will award a new Legacy Collection full classic mattress and the paint, brushes and rollers to change a bedroom in your home.
Ace Fix It Hardware on Logan Avenue and Homestyle Furniture on Tenth Street in Tyrone are working with the Herald and supplying one lucky winner with the merchandise. The drawing from all registrations is Friday, October 10, 2003. One winner will be drawn randomly. The value of the prizes is over $300.00.
“We wanted to do something different and make someone a winner. We brainstormed and came up with this idea after talking so much about what they do on the TV show Trading Spaces.” said Patty Hyde, advertising executive with The Daily Herald.
To win, all you have to do is pick up a copy of our Fall Home Improvement edition on Friday, September 28, and fill out the coupon inside the special tabloid. Then drop off your registration at either the Homestyle Furniture or Ace Fix It Hardware locations. No purchase is necessary.
Don’t be left out in the cold! If your business is interested in advertising in this special tabloid. Feel free to call The Daily Herald at 684-4000 today. Deadline is September 18, 2003.
