The Dance Fusion competition team has scheduled a spaghetti dinner for February 28 at the Bald Eagle Grange.
Take out will be available from 4 to 5 p.m., and eat in is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m.
The menu includes: spaghetti and meatballs, applesauce, bread, desserts and drinks.
According to dance instructor and proprietor of Dance Fusion Lindsay Folk, there will be many special events going on at the dinner including: a 50/50 raffle, a gift certificate penny raffle and a silent auction.
Also, performances by the Dance Fusion competition team are scheduled to take place at the event.
The purpose of the dinner is to raise money for the team to travel to Pittsburgh the weekend of March 27-28 to compete at the Rising Star National Talent Competition.
“They tried out to be on the team back in November and have been working hard ever since,” said Folk of the girls who make up the competition squad.
“We have a junior team comprised of eight girls from fourth to seventh grade and a senior team comprised of 10 girls from ninth to twelfth grade.”
Folk also added that many area businesses have been very generous in helping out with the spaghetti dinner. The businesses have donated the supplies for the dinner as well as the prizes for the raffles and silent auction.
Some of the business are: DelGrosso\\\’s Inc., Pepsi, Logan Beverage, Gardners, The Bull Pen, TGI Fridays, The Olive Garden, Sheetz, Nelson\\\’s, The Computer Learning Network and many more.
Tickets for the spaghetti dinner are available at Dance Fusion located at 8 W. 10th Street., weeknights from 5-8 p.m.
Prices for tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children.
