Grace Baptist Church, located across from East End Pizza on Columbia Avenue in Tyrone, has scheduled services for the Easter season.
On Good Friday, April 9 worship service is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be held to honor the Lord Jesus Christ\’s substitutionary death for the sins of the world. Special music from the Grace Choir and members of the congregation will prepare hearts for the solemn \”Remembrance of Christ\’s Death\” known as the \”Lord\’s Supper.”
Guests are always welcomed, and communion is opened to all believers in the Lord Jesus regardless of denominational backgrounds.
Youth minister Brandon Baker will lead the congregation in worship songs that will draw the congregation to remember the love and sacrifice of the Lord Jesus in dying the death of the cross for mankind.
Easter Sunday at 10:30 a.m. the Grace Baptist congregation of Tyrone would like to invite the area community who have no church affiliation to join in their worship celebration of Christ\’s Resurrection. Due to the musical there will be no 8:15 a.m. service.
The Easter service will be full of uplifting music celebrating Jesus, His love in dying \”the death of the cross\” for our sins, and the life changing power of His resurrection.
The Grace Choir, with director Ken Sollenberger will be presenting the musical titled, \”Redeeming Love.” Pastor Roy Garthwaite will bring the Easter message. A children\’s church as well as nursery care for infants and toddlers will be provided if desired.
Upcoming events at Grace Baptist Church include six weekly studies, beginning Sunday, April 25 through Sunday, June 6.
The public is invited to join members of Grace Baptist Church in a life-changing spiritual growth journey. The most important question of life: “What on Earth am I here for?” will be answered in the six weekly studies. This campaign is centered around The Purpose Driven Life, What on Earth am I Here For, by author Rick Warren.
