It was a combination of looking for bargains, feeding your appetite and enjoying entertainment in a community event to support the Tyrone-Snyder Public Library held in Reservoir Park on Saturday.
It was the third annual event sponsored by the Tyrone Women\’s Club with a giant yard sale, assisted by the Tyrone Rotary Club\’s chicken barbecue dinners and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority with grilled hot dogs, sloppy joes, beverages and bake sale.
The pavilion area was secured throughout the previous night by members of a Boy Scout Troop from the Bald Eagle United Methodist Church.
The event also included a variety of entertainment including Big Mac and Fries of Altoona with members Ken Civila, John McKelvey, Bill Hunter, Allan Robison, Jack Servillo and Don Osborn.
