A Philipsburg girl, 17-year-old Jennifer Marie Marcinko, was killed in a one-vehicle accident on Route 350 in Taylor Township, Centre County late Friday night.
The accident occurred at 10 minutes before midnight according to a report issued by Philipsburg State Police. Police said Marcinko was traveling northbound on Route 350 when she lost control of her car while rounding a left-hand curve. Her vehicle then traveled almost 50 feet off the roadway before striking a tree broadside and flipping onto its roof.
